Bhagauti ("we", "us", "our") is an electronics learning platform based in India. We offer career diagnostics, DIY hardware kits (ESP32, Arduino, STM32, etc.), and 1-on-1 mentorship services at bhagauti.in.

- To process kit orders and deliver hardware to your address
- To provide career diagnostics and skill benchmarking
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and support replies
- To improve our platform, content, and kit recommendations
- To send promotional emails (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To comply with legal obligations under Indian law
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Logistics partners — to fulfil kit deliveries (name + address only)
- Payment gateways — for secure transaction processing
- Email services — Resend/Nodemailer for transactional emails
- Cloud infrastructure — Supabase/Vercel (compliant environments)
- Legal authorities — if required by Indian law
6. Data Security
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — never stored in plain text
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Database access is restricted to authorized team members only
- We do not store payment card numbers or UPI credentials
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g., financial records which may be retained for up to 7 years per Indian GST regulations).

9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at contact@bhagauti.in.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you via email or a banner on the website. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
